கலவரத்திற்குப் பிறகு அமைதி நிலவும் நிலை: கலவரத்தை அடுத்து அசாதாரணமான அமைதி நிலவுகிறது, என்று தலைப்பிட்டு, “தி இந்து” செய்தி வெளியிட்டுள்ளது[1]. வேறென்ன நிலவ வேண்டும் என்று எதிர்பார்க்கிறது என்று தெரியவில்லை. 05-05-2018, சனிக்கிழமை இரவு 11 முஸ்லிம்கள் மற்றும் ஒரு எஸ்சி கைது செய்யப்பட்டனர். 500 போலீஸ்காரர்கள் பாதுகாப்பாக நிறுத்தப் பட்டது. போடி, கம்பம், ஆண்டிபட்டி, சின்னமன்னூர் மற்றும் பெரியபாளையம் முதலிய இடங்களிலும் போலீஸார் குவிக்கப்பட்டனர். ஜயமங்கலம் போலீஸ் ஷ்டேசனில் முன்னர் வேலை பார்த்த போலீஸார் இங்கு குவிக்கப்பட்ட்டுள்ளனர். ஒவ்வொரு நுழைவு பாதையிலும் கண்காணிக்க, ஒரு இன்ஸ்பெக்டர் உள்ளார்[2]. வெளியாட்கள் உள்ளே நுழைய அனுமதி இல்லை. சித்தாந்த மோதலும் நடந்து வருவதால், செய்திகளும் பாரபட்சமாக வெளி வந்து கொண்டிருக்கின்றன. ஒரு இந்துத்துவ பத்திரிக்கை வன்னியம்மாள் “தலித்” ஆக இருக்கலாம் என்று “மார்க்சீய ஆதரவு இந்து” சொல்வதாக செய்தி வெளியிடுவது வேடிக்கையாக இருக்கிறது[3]. “இந்து, தலித், முஸ்லிம்” போன்ற வார்த்தைகளையும் குழப்பத்துடன் உபயோகப் படுத்தியுள்ளது[4]. இதை எடுத்துக் காட்டி, அதற்கு, என்னுடைய பதிலை அனுப்பியுள்ளேன்[5]. இன்னொரு இந்துத்துவ பத்திரிக்கையும் புதியதாக எதையும் எடுத்துக் காட்டவில்லை[6]. மற்ற ஆங்கில நாளிதழ்கள் வெளியிட்டதை தொகுத்து வெளியிட்டுள்ளது[7].
07-05-2018 அன்று தேசிய ஆதி திராவிட ஆணையத்தின் துணைத் தலைவர் விசாரணை நடத்தியது: தேனி மாவட்டம் பெரியகுளம் அருகே கலவரத்தால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட பொம்மிநாயக்கன்பட்டியில் தேசிய ஆதி திராவிட ஆணையத்தின் துணைத் தலைவர் 07-05-2018, திங்கள்கிழமை விசாரணை நடத்தினார். பொம்மிநாயக்கன்பட்டியில் கடந்த ஏப்ரல் 24 -ஆம் உயிரிழந்த மூதாட்டி சடலத்தை பள்ளிவாசல் தெருவில் எடுத்துச்செல்லும்போது இருபிரிவினருக்கிடையே மோதல் ஏற்பட்டது. இது குறித்து இருதரப்பை சேர்ந்தவர்கள் மீதும் போலீஸார் வழக்கு பதிந்து கைது செய்து விசாரித்து வந்தனர். இந்த நிலையில் கடந்த மே 5-ஆம் தேதி காலை இரு பிரிவினருக்கும் இடையே மோதல் ஏற்பட்டது. இதில் 10-க்கு மேற்பட்ட வீடுகள், கடைகள், கார் மற்றும் இரு சக்கர வாகனம் எரிக்கப்பட்டன[8]. இதில் இரு தரப்பினரும் காயமடைந்து சிகிச்சை பெற்று வருகின்றனர். இச்சம்பவம் குறித்து இருதரப்பையும் சேர்ந்த 30- க்கு மேற்பட்டோரை போலீஸார் கைது செய்து விசாரித்து வருகின்றனர்[9]. இந்தநிலையில் தேசிய ஆதி திராவிட ஆணையத்தின் துணைத் தலைவர் எல்.முருகன் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட பகுதிக்கு சென்று அங்குள்ள பெண்களிடம் விசாரணை நடத்தினார்.
இந்திரா காலனி மக்கள் கூறியது: பின்னர் இந்திரா காலனியை சேர்ந்த மக்களிடம் கலவரம் ஏற்பட்டதற்கான காரணம் குறித்து கேட்டறிந்தார். அப்போது அவர்கள், போலீசார் மீது சரமாரியாக குற்றம் சாட்டினர். வன்னியம்மாள் உடலை எடுத்து சென்றபோது ஏற்பட்ட மோதலில் போலீசார் முறையாக நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கவில்லை என்றும், போலீசாரின் அலட்சியம் தான் கலவரம் ஏற்பட்டதற்கு காரணம் என்றும், அவர்கள் ஒரு தலைபட்சமாக செயல்பட்டதாகவும் பொதுமக்கள் புகார் கூறினர்[10]. தங்களது பகுதியில் துண்டிக்கப்பட்ட மின்சாரம், குடிநீர் ஆகியவற்றை சீரமைக்க வேண்டும் என்று கோரிக்கை விடுத்தனர்[11]. இது திகைப்படைய செய்கிறது. மின்சாரம், குடிநீர் ஏன் துண்டிக்கப்பட வேண்டும் என்று தெரியவில்லை. இதே போல முஸ்லிம்களும் பரஸ்பர கோரிக்கைக்களை வைக்கலாம்.
எல். முருகன், பின்னர் அவர் செய்தியாளர்களிடம் தெரிவித்ததாவது: “கடந்த மே 5-ஆம் தேதி வன்னியம்மாள் என்ற (70 வயதான) பெண்ணின் இறுதி ஊர்வலத்தில் பிரச்னை ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது. இதில் தாழ்த்தப்பட்டோர் வீடுகள், ஸ்டூடியோ ஆகியவை பாதிக்கப் பட்டுள்ளன. மேலும் கலைச்செல்வன் என்ற இளைஞர் காயமடைந்துள்ளார். இது குறித்து விசாரணை நடத்தியுள்ளேன். பாதிக்கப்பட்டவர்களுக்கு நிவாரணம் , வீடுகளுக்கு மின்சாரம் மற்றும் தண்ணீர் வழங்க உத்தரவிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. மேலும் கலவரத்தில் வெளியூரில் இருந்து ஆள்கள் வந்து கைகலப்பில் ஈடுபட்டுள்ளனர். அவர்களில் சிலரை போலீஸார் கைது செய்தனர். மீதமுள்ளவர்களை கைது செய்ய நடவடிக்கை எடுத்து வருகின்றனர். இப்பகுதியில் சுமூகநிலை ஏற்பட நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது,” என்றார்.
விசாரணையின் போது மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர் எம்.பல்லவி பல்தேவ், மாவட்ட காவல் கண்காணிப்பாளர் வீ.பாஸ்கரன் மற்றும் மாவட்ட வன்கொடுமை விழிப்புணர்வு தடுப்புக்குழு உறுப்பினர் ப.பாண்டியராஜன் ஆகியோர் உடனிருந்தனர். முன்னதாக இந்து முன்னணி மாநிலத் தலைவர் காடேஷ்வரா சுப்பிரமணி, பொம்மிநாயக்கன்பட்டி காந்திநகர் காலனி மக்களை தேவதானப்பட்டியில் சந்தித்து பேசி ஆறுதல் கூறினார். தேனி பாராளுமன்ற தொகுதி பா.ஜ. அமைப்பாளர் ராஜபாண்டி உடனிருந்தார்[12]. விடுதலை சிறுத்தை கட்சியின் மாவட்ட செயலாளர் நாகரத்தினம், பெரியகுளம் சட்டசபை தொகுதி பொறுப்பாளர் தங்கபாண்டி,செயலாளர் ஆண்டவர் ஆகியோர் பொம்மிநாயக்கன்பட்டிக்கு செல்ல முயன்ற போது சிந்துவம்பட்டி முனியாண்டி கோயில் அருகில் போலீசார் தடுத்து நிறுத்தினர்[13].
முஸ்லிம்கள் செய்ய வேண்டியது என்ன?: தமிழக முஸ்லிம்கள் 99.99% மதம் மாறிய இந்துக்கள் தாம், ஆகவே, அவர்கள் தங்களது மூலங்களை மாற்றி விட முடியாது. “செக்யூலரிஸ” நாட்டில், “முஸ்லிம் தெரு” என்று பெயர் வைத்துக் கொண்டு, “எங்கள் தெரு வழியாக செல்லக் கூடாது” போன்றதெல்லாம், சட்டத்திற்கு புறம்பானதாகும். அத்தகைய அடவடித்தனமான போக்கினால் தான் 24-04-2018 கலவரம் ஏற்பட்டது என்பது முன்னெரே சுட்டிக் காட்டப் பட்டது. அவர்களது நம்பிக்கைக்களை தெருக்களில் கொண்டு வரக்கூடாது, ஏனெனில், அது பொது சொத்து, எல்லோருக்கும் உரிமை உண்டு. பொருளாதார ரீதியில், இந்துக்களை நம்பித் தான் முஸ்லிம்கள் வாழ்கிறார்கள் என்பதையும் நினைத்துக் கொள்ள வேண்டும். எனவே முஸ்லிம்கள் முதலில், அந்த அடிப்படை உண்மையினை அறிந்து கொண்டு, பொறுப்பாக நடந்து கொள்ள வேண்டும். குரானில் சொல்லியபடி, “உன் வழி உனக்கு, என் வழி எனக்கு,” என்றுதான் இருக்க வேண்டும், குறிக்கிட வேண்டிய தேவையில்லை.

You reported, “After the Dalits were ostracised by Muslims, the Hindus allegedly intercepted an outsider, a Muslim man……”, thus, you are confused with such used expressions “Dalits,” “Hindus,” “Muslim”……..Your reporter should have some basics about the issue, people etc., before putting out the “news” publicly.

A Dalit-Muslim dispute over the route of a funeral procession of a woman led to tension in Tamil Nadu’s Theni district with over 30 persons being injured and three vehicles being set on fire, The Hindu has reported.
According to the report, at least two shops and houses of 50 Muslims were damaged in the clash between Dalits and Muslims at a village in the district.
Trouble erupted when the funeral procession an aged Dalit woman Vanniammal, who had died on 24 April, was passing through a street inhabited by Muslims at Bomminaickanpatti village near Periyakulam.
Muslims living in the village objected to the body of the woman being taken through their street, leading to a clash.
Police intervened and helped complete the funeral, However, the village witnessed clashes between the two groups, that escalated on Saturday (5 May).
Trouble broke out when a Muslim man, on his way to a coconut farm, was stopped by the Dalits from going through their area. This led to heated arguments, followed by clash which involved the use of sticks and stones.
Soon, an unruly mob entered the street inhabited by Muslims and pelted stones on their houses and shops. Police said a photo studio and another shop bore the brunt of the attack of the mob, which also barged into the Muslim houses and damaged items like furniture and electronic gadgets.
On its way back, the mob set on fire a car owned by a Muslim family and two motorcycles owned by two non-Muslims ones.
Police said they have cordoned off the village to prevent tension from spreading to other areas. Additional security through the deployment of nearly 200 policemen has been provided. A case has been registered at Jayamangalam police station and further enquiry is on. Some locals are reported to have fled the village.

Police have arrested 19 persons from two groups
THENI
With the arrest of 19 persons and deployment of additional police force after the violence and arson that shook Bomminaickanpatti in Periyakulam block on Saturday, an uneasy calm prevailed at the village on Sunday.
The police intensified search throughout Saturday night and arrested 11 persons from Muslim community and nine persons from a Dalit community. More than 500 police personnel had been deployed at the village for 48 hours.
Police personnel in Bodi, Cumbum, Andipatti, Chinnamanur and Periyakulam, who earlier worked within Jayamangalam police station limits, were deployed at the village for intense surveillance. They were posted at vantage points and at the four entry points of the village. An inspector was also deployed at each entry point.
No outsiders were allowed to enter the village. Already, many persons, who were involved in the violence, fled from the village.
More than 30 persons were injured and household items in 50 houses were destroyed in the clash between the two groups at the village on Saturday. An unruly mob torched two shops, a car, an autorikshaw and two two-wheelers. Another gang reportedly felled 200 banana plants in a farm owned by one Mohammad.
Desecration of a banner erected by the VCK cadre and protest over carrying the body of a Dalit woman through the Muslim-dominated area triggered enmity between the groups, sources said.
