நடுத்தெருவில் கழுத்தை வெட்டிய தீவிரவாதிகள்: பிரிட்டனின் தென் கிழக்கு பகுதியில், ஊல்விச் என்ற இடத்தில், ராணுவ முகாம் உள்ளது. ராணுவத்தில் பணியாற்றும் வீரர் ஒருவர், நேற்று முன்தினம், முழு சீருடையில், முகாம் அருகே, காரில் சென்று கொண்டிருந்தார். அந்த காரை, இரு இளைஞர்கள் தடுத்து நிறுத்தினர். சாலையில் பலர் சென்று கொண்டிருந்த நிலையில், காரில் இருந்த ராணுவ வீரர், என்ன, ஏது என கேட்கும் போதே, அவரை கீழே இழுத்து போட்ட அந்த நபர்கள், ஆட்டின் கழுத்தை நறுக்குவது போல, வீரரின் கழுத்தை அறுத்துக் கொன்றனர்[3]. லண்டன் நகரின் உல்விச் வீதியில் ராணுவ வீரர்களின் பாசறை பகுதி ஒன்றுள்ளது. இப்பகுதியின் சாலை வழியே வந்துக்கொண்ருந்த ராணுவ வீரரை வழிமறித்த இருவர் அரிவாளால் அவரது தலையை துண்டித்து வெட்டிக் கொன்றனர்[4]. ரத்த வெள்ளத்தில் துடிதுடித்த ராணுவ வீரர் சம்பவ இடத்திலேயே பரிதாபமாக உயிரிழந்தார்[5].

In attacker’s argot, Londoners shocked to hear one of their own

London: In the lurid scene of the red-handed knifeman describing his motives for hacking to death a British soldier in broad daylight, perhaps the most chilling aspect for many Londoners was the man’s unmistakably familiar accent.
Michael Adebolajo, 28, who was filmed wielding a bloody meat cleaver and butcher’s knife as the soldier lay dead on the road behind him, was not a maladjusted immigrant like Boston bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev, but a true Londoner born and bred.
In his barrage of threats filmed after the attack, Adebolajo often sounded more like a rapper or gangster film character than an Islamist radical: “Do you think David Cameron is going to get caught in the street when we start busting our guns?” he said.
“Do you think your politicians are going to die? No. It’s going to be the average guy like you and your children. So get rid of them. Tell them to bring our troops back so we can – so you can all live in peace.”
He and the other suspect, who has not been named publicly, were both British citizens of Nigerian heritage.
The two men were shot by police at the scene and are now under arrest in hospital. They have not yet been charged and no lawyers have so far appeared on their behalf.
Sources familiar with the investigation say both suspects were on the radar of British police tracking Islamist extremism, but authorities had no chance to thwart an attack that required no more preparation than buying a set of butchers’ knives.
Schoolmates at Marshall’s Park school in the overwhelmingly white north-east London suburb of Romford that Adebolajo attended from 1996-2001, described him as a charismatic and popular kid whose transformation into a killer defied logic.
“He was always a good guy at school (who would) do anything for anyone,” schoolmate Darren Marsh wrote on the Facebook page of the local newspaper, the Romford Recorder.
“He was a clever guy but he was cheeky. He acted a bit like a gangster, but I think it was just image. I’d never have seen him as a Muslim extremist.”
Another schoolmate told the paper: “I know a lot can change in 10 years – but, whether or not he liked you, he’d stick up for you. I was bullied myself, and he was the one who put a stop to it.”
Another, Paul Leech, wrote on Twitter: “Michael Adebolajo u make me sick, how could someone who was a laugh and nice bloke at school turn out like that. I’m ashamed to have known u.”
Reuters was not able to independently verify the views of the individuals named.
British media focused on the apparent success of the Adebolajo family in Britain – another factor that sets the suspect apart from the financially struggling Tsarnaevs.
Adebolajo’s father Anthony Adebolajo moved from Romford to Lincolnshire in northern England and worked as a nurse in Britain’s National Health Service. British newspapers drew attention to the 365,000 pound pricetag of the two-car brick family home, which was raided by police at dawn on Thursday. Reuters was not able to contact the father.
Investigators have not found any link between the London attack and Nigeria’s own Islamist insurgency, which is based in the north of that West African country. The Adebolajos were a Christian family, and their surname suggests they are members of the Yoruba community from the mainly Christian south.
Instead, the investigation is likely to focus on how a Muslim convert was radicalised at home in Britain.
Someone calling himself Abu Nusaybah, who said he knew Adebolajo, described on Twitter how he had grown more fervid in his views in recent years. He referred to him by the nickname “Mujahid” – warrior.
“I knew Mujahid had changed, last time I saw him, he had memorized so much Quran and was very strict & precise on his worship & manners,” he wrote. “Mujahid was a strong character, but I remembers years back Foreign Policy would bring him to tears – then he just went quiet.”
Al-Muhajiroun
Anjem Choudary, the head of the banned Islamist group al-Muhajiroun, also knew Adebolajo by the name Mujahid for about a decade. He said the man had attended the group’s events.
“He used to attend a few demonstrations and activities that we used to have in the past,” Choudary told Reuters, adding he had not seen him for about two years. “When I knew him he was a very pleasant man, he was peaceful, unassuming and I don’t think there’s any reason to think he would do anything violent.
“I would not consider him to be a member of the organisation. I don’t think he was intellectually affiliated, he was a contact. He used to attend some stuff.
“If you are a practising Muslim male and you want to do something, then you’ll probably come across us at one time or another, so I don’t think you should be surprised that he’s been attending some of our activities.”
Choudary did not recognise the other suspect but said he had not seen clear images of him.
Al-Muhajiroun gained notoriety for events to commemorate the September 11, 2001, attacks on the United States with leaflets that referred to the hijackers as “the Magnificent 19”. Its Syrian-born founder Omar Bakri was banished from Britain in 2005.
Choudary’s followers frequently channel anger at Britain’s foreign policy – especially its participation in the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq over the past decade – against troops. They hold demonstrations at the funerals of British soldiers and stage burnings of the paper poppies Britons wear annually for Remembrance Day in honour of war dead.
Choudary has always maintained that al-Muhajiroun forbids its followers in Britain from carrying out attacks there under a “covenant of security” demanded of Muslims in non-Muslim lands.
“I’m not in the business of condemnation or condoning,” Choudary said of the attack. “I think if anyone needs to be condemned it is the British government and their foreign policy. It’s so clear that that is the cause.”
British converts to Islam have been prominent in attacks and plots in the past, including Richard Reid, the “shoe bomber” who pleaded guilty to trying to blow up a transatlantic airliner in December 2001, and Jamaican-born Germaine Lindsay, one of the four suicide bombers who struck London transport in July 2005.
More recently, a man converted to Islam by Choudary, Richard Dart, pleaded guilty to terrorism charges in March. Authorities said Dart had discussed attacking Royal Wootton Bassett, a town that holds ceremonies for British troops killed abroad whose bodies are repatriated to a nearby air field.
British authorities have warned of the threat of “lone wolf” attackers – individuals or small groups who plan simple attacks on their own, who may be inspired by groups like Al Qaeda but do not need to coordinate with outsiders.
Choudary, who refused to condemn the London knife attack and said British foreign policy was to blame, nevertheless agreed that “lone wolves” were the threat.
“When you start to ban organisations from merely thought crimes and because you don’t agree with what they say about foreign policy, then I don’t think you should be surprised that people manifest their anger in different ways.

Trio arrested over London soldier terror attack

London: Three men were arrested on Saturday on suspicion of conspiracy to murder the British soldier hacked to death in a London street in an Islamist attack.
Two men aged 28 an 24 were arrested at a home in southeast London, with police firing a Taser electric stun gun on the older suspect, and on a 21-year-old man they arrested in a street around a mile (1.5 kilometres) from the murder scene.
Britain is dealing with the aftermath of a grisly murder which was the first fatal Islamist terror attack in the kingdom since the 2005 London bombings.
Prime Minister David Cameron is launching a new task force to tackle extremism and radicalisation, his Downing Street office said.
Meanwhile an inter-faith group reported a large spike in anti-Muslim incidents, while up to 2,000 members of the far-right English Defence League (EDL) staged a protest in the northeastern city of Newcastle.
Drummer Lee Rigby, 25, who survived a tour of duty in Afghanistan, was butchered in broad daylight Wednesday outside the Royal Artillery Barracks in Woolwich, southeast London.
Michael Adebolajo, 28, and 22-year-old Michael Adebowale remain in a stable condition after being shot by police at the scene of the killing.
They have both been arrested on suspicion of murder and are under armed guard in separate hospitals.
The three men arrested on Saturday on suspicion of conspiracy to murder were all held by detectives from the Counter Terrorism Command supported by specialist firearms officers.
Officers were also searching four residential addresses in southeast London.
The new counter-terror task force will include key cabinet ministers and bring in police and security chiefs when needed.
It will focus on radical preachers who target potential recruits in jails, schools, colleges and mosques. It was also to monitor trends in radicalisation and tackle “poisonous narratives”.
Downing Street said the group would focus on practical measures rather than getting bogged down in theoretical debates about Britishness and cultural values.
Faith Matters, a state-funded organisation which works to reduce extremism, said it has recorded a huge increase in anti-Muslim incidents reported to its helpline since the attack.
“It’s a hugely worrying development,” director Fiyaz Mughal told AFP, saying the organisation had been informed of 162 incidents in the past 48 hours, compared to a daily average of four to six.
They were mainly verbal attacks on women wearing the Islamic headscarf in the street, he said, but there were also online attacks and some violence.
A woman in her 50s had been punched unconscious on the outskirts of Oldham, near Rigby’s home city of Manchester in northwest England, while two mosques had been attacked in the south of the country.
Up to 2,000 members of the anti-Islam EDL gathered in Newcastle, police said, for a long-planned rally given added impetus by the soldier’s murder.
They sang “RIP Lee Rigby” and chanted “Whose streets? Our streets”, while some people waved British flags.
Up to 400 of their opponents staged a counter-protest, but the day passed off without major incident.
A small impromptu protest also took place in Manchester, while another demonstration is planned for outside Downing Street on Monday.
A number of people have been charged over malicious comments made on social networking sites.
Britain’s intelligence agencies were facing scrutiny following claims that the MI5 domestic security service had tried to recruit one of the two murder suspects.
Both were known to the intelligence services and Adebolajo had links to the banned radical Al-Muhajiroun movement, but ministers and security experts have warned of the difficulty in keeping track of everybody with extreme views.
Both were brought up by Nigerian Christians and converted to Islam in their teens, and recently were seen handing out extremist literature in the streets — to the concern of their families.
Adebowale’s mother, Juliet Obasuyi, sought help from friends and an imam after growing increasingly concerned about her son, particularly when he dropped out of university nine months ago.
“He is from a strong Christian family but he is turning to Islam and turning against the family,” she was quoted in newspapers as telling a Muslim neighbour.
“He needs spiritual guidance before he radicalises himself.”
Meanwhile in Paris, a uniformed French soldier on anti-terror duties was stabbed in the neck in an attack that President Francois Hollande said could not “at this stage” be linked to the London murder.

இன்னொரு கிருத்துவ தீவிரவாதி இப்படி கிளம்பி தானும் செயலில் இறங்கி விட்டல் என்னாவது?
அப்பொழுது கண்ணுக்கு கண், ……………..என்று பேசிக் கொண்டிருக்க முடியுமா?

Ironically, the TMMK, TNMK, TTJP, INML, IMUL etc., have been demonstrating then and there for the people of Egypt, Syria, Iraq etc.
I do not understand, why they do not demonstrate for Iran?

கடவுள் ஒருவரே! நாம் கடவுளின் பிள்ளைகள். வேறு எந்த பாகு பாடும் கூடாது. இதனால் தான் நாட்டில் இத்தனை பிரச்சனைகள். மனிதனாக ஒன்று படுவோம்.வேறு பாட்டை களைவோம். எத்தனை சொல்லி கொடுத்தாலும், எத்தனை பாடம் எடுத்தாலும் நடக்காது. ஒரு சில நாளில் மறந்து போகும். தவம் செய்து நம்மில் இருக்கும் பாவ மூட்டையை அழித்து வாழ்வில் சந்தோசமாக இருப்போம். மற்றவரை சந்தோஷ படுத்துவோம்.
நான் சொல்ல போகும் தகவல் அணைத்தும் சித்தர்கள் ஞானிகள் சொன்ன ஞான விளக்கம் பற்றியது. எப்படி வாழ்க்கையை நல்ல படியாக வாழ்வது என்று சொன்னது
ஞானம் என்பது பரிபூரண அறிவு. அது நம்மை அறிந்த பிறகே நடக்கும். நாம் என்பது இந்த உடலோ மனமோ கிடையாது. நான் என்பது உயிர். இதை அனுபமாக இல்லாமல் இருக்கிறது.இதை அநுபவம் ஆக்க வேண்டும். இதை எல்லா ஞானிகளும் சொல்லி சென்று உள்ளனர்.
இதுவரை நாம் மற்றவரிடம் இருந்து தான் எல்லாவற்றையும் கற்று கொண்டோம். சாம்பார் அம்மாவிடம், …. இந்த புதிய பாடத்தை கற்று கொள்ள ஒருவர் தேவை. அவர் தான் குரு. ஞான சற்குரு.
நான் உங்களுக்கு புத்தகம் கொடுக்க ஆவல். எப்படி அனுப்புவது என்று தெரியவில்லை.அதனால் இண்டநெட் இல் அனுப்புகிறேன்.
இதை தான் ஞானிகளும் சித்தர்களும் செய்து வந்தனர். இது உங்களுக்கு புதிதாக இருக்கலாம். இதை ரகசியம் என்று நிறய பேர் சொல்லி தருவது இல்லை.
திரு அருட்பிரகாஷ வள்ளலார் அவர்கள் அருளால் எல்லாம் வெளியே சொல்லி கொண்டு இருக்கிறோம்.
உலகில் பிறந்து ஒவ்வொரு மனிதனும் வாழ்வில் நல்ல படியாக வாழவேண்டும். அதற்க்கு முதலில் நான் யார் என்பதை அனுபவமாக தெரிந்து கொள்ள வேண்டும்.
அப்படி தெரிந்து கொள்ள தவம் செய்ய வேண்டும். தவம் என்பது சும்மா இருப்பது. மனதை பயன்படுத்தி செய்யும் எந்த செயலும் அல்ல.
இறைவன் அருள் வேண்டும் என்றால் சுத்த சைவ உணவு கொண்டு வாழ வேண்டும்.

தீவிரவாதம், பயங்கரவாதம், தேசத்துரோகம், முதலியவற்றில் ஈடுபட்டுள்ளவர்களுக்குஅனுப்ப வேண்டும்.
ஏற்கெனவே, போனில் பேசிவிட்டேன்.
குருவிற்கு சரியாக பதில் சொல்லக் கூட தெரியவில்லை, முடியவில்லை.
