ஜிஹாதித் தீவிரவாதியே ஃபிதாயீன் என்று ஒப்புக்கொள்கிறான்: அகமதாபாத்தில் காவல்துறையினர் நடத்திய என்கவுண்டரில் கொல்லப்பட்ட இஸ்ரத் ஜஹான் என்ற பெண், லஷ்கர் இ தொய்பா தீவிரவாதிதான் என்று அமெரிக்காவில் கைது செய்யப்பட்ட தீவிரவாதி டேவிட் ஹெட்லி தெரிவித்துள்ளான. மும்பையை சேர்ந்த இஸ்ரத் ஜஹான், குஜராத் மாநிலம் அகமதாபாத்தில் காவல்துறையினரால் என்கவுண்டரில் கொல்லப்பட்டது சர்ச்சையை ஏற்படுத்தியிருந்தது. இஸ்ரத் ஜஹான் லஷ்கர் இயக்கத்தை சேர்ந்தவர் என்று குஜராத் மாநில காவல்துறையினர் தெரிவித்திருந்தனர். ஆனால் அதனை மறுத்திருந்த இஸ்ரத் ஜஹான் குடும்பத்தினர், அவள் கல்லூரி மாணவி மட்டுமே என்று கூறியிருந்தனர். இந்நிலையில், மும்பை தாக்குதலில் தொடர்புடையவனும், அமெரிக்காவில் கைது செய்யப்பட்ட தீவிரவாதியுமான டேவிட் ஹெட்லியிடம், அண்மையில் இந்தியாவில் இருந்து சென்ற தேசிய புலனாய்வு ஏஜென்சி மற்றும் சட்டத்துறையை சேர்ந்த நான்கு பேர் கொண்ட குழு விசாரணை நடத்தியது. அப்போது இஸ்ரத் ஜஹான் என்ற பெண், லஷ்கர் இ தொய்பா தற்கொலை தீவிரவாதிதான் என்று ஹெட்லி கூறியதாக டெல்லி தகவல்கள் தெரிவிக்கின்றன[1].
இஸ்ரத்-தீவிரவாதிகளுடன்-கொல்லப்பட்டது
சிதம்பரம் பொய் சொன்னாரா, உள்துரை அமைச்சரின் புரட்டா இல்லை, தீவிரவாதிகளுக்கு ஆதரவா? இஸ்ரத் ஜஹான் லஸ்கர்-இ-தொய்பாவின் ஆள்தான் என்று டேவிட் ஹெட்லி ஒப்புக்கொண்டது, சிதம்பரம் பொய் சொன்னதாக ஆகிறது. முஜாம்மில் என்ற இந்திய லஷ்கர் பொறுப்பாளி தான் அவளை அத்தகைய தீவிரவாத வேலைக்கு ஆள் எடுத்ததாக ஒப்புக்கொண்டான். இவளைத்தவிர மேலும் நான்கு பெண்களை மனித வெடிகுண்டுகளாக – ஃபிதாயீன் – தேர்ந்தெடுத்தான்[2]. ஹெட்லுக்கு இந்த எல்லா பெண்களிடமும் தொடர்பு இருந்ததாகவும், அவன் தான் அத்தகைய தீவிரவாத வேலைகளுக்கு அனுப்பிவைத்ததாகவும் ஒப்புக் கொண்டான்[3]. இனி சிதம்பரம் மற்ற அறிவு ஜீவிகள் என்ன சொல்லப் போகிறார்கள் என்று பார்க்க வேண்டும்.

ஜேவித் ஷேய்க் (பிராணேஷ் பிள்ளை)கின் பெற்றோர்கள் தொலைக்காட்சி செனல்களில் பேசியதை நினைவில் கொள்ளவெஏண்டும் : இஸ்ரத் ஜஹான், ஜேவித் ஷேய்க் (பிராணேஷ் பிள்ளை) மற்றும் இரண்டு பாகிஸ்தானிய ஆட்கள் – அஜ்மத் அலி மற்றும் ஜிஷான் ஜோஹர் அப்துல் கனி முதகியோர் ஜூன் மாதம் 15, 2004ல் போலீஸாரால் சுட்டுக் கொள்ளப்பட்டனர். அப்பொழுது போலீஸாருக்கு, இவர்கள் சதிதிட்டம் தீட்டி நரேந்திர மோடியைக் கொலைசெய்ய புறப்பட்டு வந்ததாக செய்தி கிடைத்தது[4]. அப்பொழுது பிராணேஷ் பிள்ளையின் பெற்றோர் தமது பிள்ளை தீவிரவாதி கிடையாது என்றேல்லாம் வாதாடினர்[5]. அவர்கள் தமது மகன் ஏதோ “இந்து” என்ற ரீதியில்தான் தொலைக்காட்சி செனல்களுக்கும் பரபரப்பாக பேட்டிக் கொடுத்துக் கொண்டிருந்தனர். அப்பொழுது தீஸ்தா செதல்வாத் என்ற செக்யூலரிஸ தீவிரவாதிதான், அவர்கள் தீவிரவாதிகள் இல்லை, பால்குடுக்கும் குழந்தைகள், அநியாயமாக என்கவுண்டர் என்று போட்டுத் தள்ளீவிட்டனர் என்றெல்லாம் கத்திக் கொண்டிருந்ததையும் நினைவில் கொள்ள வேண்டும். இதற்கு சவுதி அரேபியாவில் உள்ள கூட்டத்திற்கும் காங்கிரஸுக்கும் தொடர்பு இருப்பதாகக் கூறப்பட்டது. இஸ்ரத்தின் தாயார் ஷமிமா கௌஸர் ஷேய்க் வாசனைத் திரவியகங்கள் என்ற கம்பெனியின் வியாபார வளர்ச்சியாளராக இருந்ததாக குஜராத் நீதிமன்றத்தில் கூறியிருந்தார்[6].

மத்திய புலனாய்வு அமைப்பு அளித்த தகவலின் அடிப்படையில்தான் ஒருவரைக் கொலை செய்வதாகக் கூறுவதை எப்படி ஏற்க முடியும்: அதாவது சிதம்பரத்தைப் போல, மத்திய புலனாய்வு அமைப்பு கூட தவறான தகவல் அளிக்கும் என்றால், அது அந்த அமைப்பையே கேவலப்படுத்துவது போலல்லவா இருக்கிறது? எந்த நாட்டிலாவது, ஒரு உள்துறை அமைச்சர் இப்படி மத்திய புலனாய்வு அமைப்பு பற்றி இவ்வளவு கேவலாமாக பேசியிருக்க முடியாது. தனது மாநில போலீஸார் வரம்பு மீறி மேற்கொண்ட செயலை நியாயப்படுத்தும் வகையில் மத்திய அரசு மீது குஜராத் மாநில அரசு பழிசுமத்தியுள்ளது. இது மிகவும் மோசமான முன்னுதாரணம். குஜராத் மாநிலத்தில் போலீஸ் நிர்வாகம் எந்த அளவுக்கு உள்ளது என்பதை இதிலிருந்தே தெரிந்து கொள்ளலாம். நீதிமன்றத்தில் குஜராத் மாநில அரசு தாக்கல் செய்துள்ள பிரமாண பத்திரத்தில், இஸ்ரத் ஜஹான் மற்றும் அவரது சகாக்கள் மூவரும் லஷ்கர்-இ-தொய்பா அமைப்பைச் சேர்ந்தவர்கள் என்றும் அவர்கள் குஜராத் மாநிலத்தில் தாக்குதல் நடத்தத் திட்டமிட்டுள்ளதாகக் கூறியிருப்பதையும் சுட்டிக் காட்டியுள்ளது. இதனாலேயே மாநில காவல்துறையினர் என்கவுன்டர் மூலம் அவர்களை சுட்டுக் கொன்றதாகக் குறிப்பிட்டனர். புலனாய்வுத் தகவலை முடிவான ஆதாரமாக எடுத்துக் கொள்ள முடியாது. அது வெறும் தகவல்தான். மத்திய புலனாய்வு அமைப்பு தகவலை மாநில அரசிடம் பகிர்ந்து கொண்டுள்ளது. அதுவே ஆதாரமாகாது என்றார் சிதம்பரம். 2004-ம் ஆண்டு ஜூன் 15-ம் தேதி முதல்வர் நரேந்திர மோடியைக் கொல்வதற்கு வந்ததாக இஸ்ரத் ஜாவேத், குலாம் ஷேக் என்கிற பிரானேஷ் குமார் பிள்ளை, அம்ஜத் அலி என்கிற ராஜ்குமார், அக்பர் அலி ராணா என்கிர ஜிசான் ஜோஹர் அப்துல் கனி ஆகியோரை போலீஸôர் நகருக்கு வெளியே சுட்டுக் கொன்றனர்.

MUMBRA: Pakistani-American terrorist David Headley’s claim that Ishrat Jahan, the Mumbra girl who was killed along with three alleged terrorists in 2004 in a police encounter, was a Lashkar fidayeen has stirred a fresh controversy.
Ishrat’s family has now decided to seek a clarification from Union home minister P Chidambaram on the issue.
Iterating that her daughter was killed in a staged gun battle by the Gujarat police, Ishrat’s mother Shamima Kausar (51) said, “This is an attempt to prejudice the Gujarat high court which is looking into my appeal for a CBI probe in Ishrat’s death.”
Pointing out that a magisterial inquiry in Gujarat has declared the encounter fake and proved Ishrat’s innocence, Shamima said, “I will approach Chidambaram and ask him to come clean on the issue.”
Rauf Lala, a Mumbra-based lawyer who is assisting Shamima in the case against Gujarat government termed the allegation as an “attempt to scare the mother”.
“Such reports will only strengthen my resolve to get justice for my daughter,” Shamima said. “My family had to go through a tough time after Ishrat’s death. Our neighbours eyed us with suspicion, but judicial magistrate S Tamang’s report cleared those misconceptions,”Shamima said.

Mumbra: The TOI report on Ishrat Jahan’s Lashkar-e-Taiba links stirred a fresh controversy on Monday, with the slain 19-year-old Mumbra girl’s mother seeking a clarification from Union home minister P Chidambaram on the issue.
Ishrat’s mother, Shamima Kausar (51), without going into the details of the LeT charge, reiterated that her daughter was killed in cold blood in a staged gun battle by the Gujarat Police in 2004. “The news is an attempt to prejudice Gujarat HC, which is looking into my appeal for a CBI probe in Ishrat’s death. Already a magisterial inquiry in Gujarat has declared the encounter as fake and proved her innocence. I’ll approach the union home minister and ask him to come clean on this issue,” Kausar told TOI.
Ishrat, a collegian, was shot dead along with three others in a shootout in Ahmedabad. Gujarat police claimed that the four were LeT operatives out to kill CM Narendra Modi. Kausar pursued the case in Gujarat courts with support from Jitendra Awhad, NCP MLA from Mumbra-Kausa.
“It’s only an attempt to scare the mother,” said Rauf Lala, a Mumbra-based lawyer assisting Kausar in the case against Gujarat government.
Kausar said it’s not going to cow her down and that it’ll strengthen her resolve for getting justice for Ishrat. She said her eldest daughter’s death in such circumstances had initially led to much suspicion and scorn from neighbours but a court order by judicial magistrate S Tamang — doubting the veracity of the encounter — had cleared those misconceptions.

Slain college student Ishrat Jahan’s family on Monday refuted the statement of US-born Lashkar-e-Tayyeba (LeT) operative David Headley that she was the terrorist outfit’s suicide bomber.
Headley had reportedly told a National Investigation Agency team in the US that Jahan, who was killed in a police encounter on the outskirts of Ahmedabad in June 2004, was a member of the LeT suicide squad.
Family members alleged that the media report on this was an effort to smear their reputation before the Gujarat High Court started hearing on July 14 their plea against the encounter killing.
“These are attempts to put pressure on the family. In spite of these reports, we aren’t scared. Even if there was an ounce of doubt in our minds about Jahan, we wouldn’t have fought the case, but we know she was innocent and we are going to fight the case till the end,” said Jahan’s uncle Abdul Rauf Lala.
In September last year, Ahmedabad magistrate S.P. Tamang said in his report that the Ishrat Jahan encounter was fake.
“Tamang’s report established that she was murdered. This is like justifying the murder through Headley’s statement. How can you believe a criminal like Headley,” Lala asked.
Jahan’s mother, Shamima Kausar, said: “The media report is wrong, we are hurt by it. Our girl was innocent …”
Meanwhile, the BJP in Gujarat on Monday hit out at NGOs and the Congress for “defaming the Modi government on the issue”.
“Some NGOs and the Congress have cast aspersion on the veracity of the Gujarat police claim that Ishrat and others were on a mission to kill Gujarat CM Narendra Modi,” said Gujarat BJP president R.C. Faldu.
NGO Jan Sangharsh Manch and lawyer Mukul Sinha are fighting court cases against all alleged fake encounters.

Victim’s father pleads for time-bound CBI investigation

Gopinath Pillai, father of Pragnesh alias Javed Shaikh, who was killed in an alleged encounter along with Ishrat Jahan by the Gujarat Police in 2004, has filed a petition in the Gujarat High Court demanding implementation of a Supreme Court order in connection with his petition praying a CBI probe.
The SC, in its order on April 19, had directed the Chief Justice of the Gujarat HC to place the petitions of CBI probe into the killings before the Division Bench and to dispose it within six months.
Pillai’s lawyer Amrish Patel said: “Even after two months of the SC order, the petition has not been heard by the Division Bench of the HC. Therefore, we have moved the petition with a request for the compliance of the SC order at the earliest.”
On June 15, 2004, Ahmedabad City Detection of Crime Branch (DCB) had killed four persons in an “encounter” near Kotarpur Waterworks in the periphery of Ahmedabad city. The four were identified as Javed, Amjad Ali Rana, Zeeshan Jauhar and Ishrat. DCB officials claimed that the four were on a mission to kill Chief Minister Narendra Modi.

Following the incident, Gopinath Pillai and Ishrat’s mother, Shamima, had filed petitions in the High Court demanding a CBI probe into the encounter, calling it staged.
The HC, however, formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) consisting of three senior IPS officers of the Gujarat cadre to probe into the alleged fake encounter.
Meanwhile, Metropolitan Magistrate S P Tamang, who was conducting a judicial probe into the encounter, submitted his report calling the encounter “fake”.
The state government had challenged this report while questioning its validity. Following the state government’s petition, the HC stayed the Tamang Report.
Shamima and Pillai had also challenged the HC order to stay Tamang Report in the Supreme Court.
The SC had also directed the High Court to consider the maintainability of a petition by the state government challenging the Tamang Report.

குஜராத்தில், 2004, ஜூன் 15ம் தேதி ஆமதாபாத்தின் புறநகரில் காரில் வந்த ஒரு கும்பலுக்கும் போலீசாருக்கும் இடையே சண்டை நடந்தது. இச்சண்டையில் காரில் இருந்த இளம் பெண் இஷ்ரத் ஜகான், ஜாவீத் ஷேக் மற்றும் இரண்டு பாகிஸ்தானியர்கள் கொல்லப்பட்டனர்.இந்த நான்கு பேரும் குஜராத் முதல்வர் நரேந்திர மோடியை கொல்ல வந்ததாக விசாரணையில் தெரிந்தது. ஆனால், இந்த குற்றச்சாட்டை இஷ்ரத்தின் தாய் மறுத்து, கோர்ட்டில் வழக்கு தொடர்ந்தார். வாசனை திரவிய நிறுவனத்தில் பணி புரிந்த தன்னுடைய பெண், சக ஊழியர்களுடன் வீடு திரும்பிய போது போலீசார் சுட்டுக் கொன்று விட்டதாக வழக்கு தொடர்ந்திருந்தார்.
இதற்கிடையே மும்பை தாக்குதல் சம்பவத்துக்கு சதி திட்டம் தீட்டி கொடுத்த அமெரிக்க வாழ் பாகிஸ்தானியரான டேவிட் கோல்மேன் ஹெட்லி, கடந்த ஆண்டு சிகாகோவில் கைது செய்யப்பட்டான். இவனிடம் தற்போது தேசிய புலனாய்வு அதிகாரிகளும், சட்டத்துறையைச் சேர்ந்தவர்களும் அமெரிக்கா சென்று விசாரித்தனர்.குஜராத்தில் கொல்லப்பட்ட இஷ்ரத் ஜகான், லஷ்கர்-இ-தொய்பாவின் தற்கொலைப் படையைச் சேர்ந்தவள் என, டேவிட் கோல்மேன் ஹெட்லி, இந்திய புலனாய்வு அதிகாரிகளிடம் தெரிவித்துள்ளான். இந்த வாக்குமூலத்தின் மூலம் நீண்ட கால புதிருக்கு விடை கிடைத்துள்ளதாக மத்திய புலனாய்வுத்துறையினர் நம்புகின்றனர்.

വാഷിങ്ടണ്: അഹമ്മദാബാദില് പൊലീസുമായുള്ള ഏറ്റുമുട്ടലില് മരിച്ച മുംബൈ സ്വദേശി ഇസ്രത്ത് ജഹാന് ലഷ്കറെ തൊയ്ബ ഭീകര സംഘടനയുടെ ചാവേറായിരുന്നെന്ന് അമേരിക്കയില് അറസ്റ്റിലായ ഡേവിഡ് കോള്മാന് ഹെഡ്ലി വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയതായി റിപ്പോര്ട്ടുകള്.
ഗുജറാത്ത് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്ര മോഡിയെ വധിക്കാന് പദ്ധതിയിട്ടുവെന്ന് സംശയിച്ച് 2004ലാണ് മലയാളിയായ പ്രാണേഷ് പിള്ളയും, ഇസ്ര്ത്തിനെയും ഉള്പ്പെടെ നാലു പേരെ പൊലീസ് വെടിവച്ചു കൊന്നത്.
ഷിക്കാഗോ ജയിലില് വെച്ച് എന്ഐഎയും, നിയമവകുപ്പിലെ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരും നടത്തിയ ചോദ്യം ചെയ്യലിനിടെയാണ് ഹെഡ്ലി ഇഈ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തല് നടത്തിയതെന്ന് രഹസ്യാന്വേഷണങ്ങളെ ഉദ്ധരിച്ച് പ്രമുഖ ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് പത്രം റിപ്പോര്ട്ട് ചെയ്തു.
ഇസ്രത്ത് അടക്കമുള്ളവരുടെ കൊലപാതകവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട കേസില് ഗുജറാത്ത് സര്ക്കാറും കേന്ദ്രവും കോടതിയില് നിലപാട് അറിയിക്കാനിരിക്കെയാണ് വാര്ത്ത പുറത്തു വന്നത്.
ഇസ്രത്ത് ഭീകര സംഘടനയിലെ അംഗമാണെന്ന നിലപാടാണ് ആദ്യംമുതല്ക്കെ തന്നെ ഗുജറാത്ത് പൊലീസും, കേന്ദ്രവും സ്വീകരിച്ച് വന്നത്. ഗുജറാത്ത്, കേന്ദ്ര സര്ക്കാറുകളുടെ ഭാഷ്യത്തിന് പിന്ബലമേകുന്നതാണ് റിപ്പോര്ട്ട്. എന്നാല്, ഇക്കാര്യത്തില് എന്ഐഎ, കേന്ദ്ര ആഭ്യന്തര മന്ത്രാലയ വൃത്തങ്ങള് പ്രതികരിച്ചിട്ടില്ല.
ബി.എസ്സി വിദ്യാര്ഥിനി ഇശ്റത്ത് ജഹാന്, മലയാളിയായ ജാവേദ് എന്ന പ്രാണേഷ് കുമാര്, പാക് വംശജരെന്ന് ആരോപണമുള്ള അംജദ് അലി റാണ, ഷീഹാന് ജൗഹര് എന്നിവരെ 2004 ജൂണ് 12 ന് പുലര്ച്ചെയാണ് ഗുജറാത്തിലെ കൊതാര്പൂരില് നടുറോഡില് കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ട നിലയില് കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്ര മോഡിയെ വധിക്കാനെത്തിയ ചാവേറുകളെ ഏറ്റുമുട്ടലില് വധിച്ചെന്നായിരുന്നു പൊലീസ് ഭാഷ്യം.

ന്യൂഡല്ഹി: മലയാളിയായ പ്രാണേഷ് പിള്ള എന്ന ജാവേദ് ഷെയ്ഖിനൊപ്പം അഹമ്മദാബാദില് ഏറ്റുമുട്ടലില് കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ട ഇസ്രത്ത് ജഹാന് എന്ന മുംബൈ സ്വദേശി പെണ്കുട്ടി ലഷ്കറെ തോയ്ബയുടെ ചാവേര് പോരാളിയായിരുന്നെന്ന് അമേരിക്കയില് അറസ്റ്റിലായ ലഷ്കറെ ഭീകരന് ഡേവിഡ് കോള്മാന് ഹെഡ്ലി.
ഷിക്കാഗോയിലെ തടവറയില് ചോദ്യംചെയ്ത ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ദേശീയ അന്വേഷണ ഏജന്സി (എന്.ഐ.എ)യോടാണു ഹെഡ്ലി ഇക്കാര്യം വ്യക്തമാക്കിയത്. ഗുജറാത്ത് പോലീസിന്റെയും കേന്ദ്ര സര്ക്കാരിന്റെയും നിലപാടിനു ബലം നല്കുന്നതാണ് ഈ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തല്. 2004 ജൂണ് 15 നായിരുന്നു അഹമ്മദാബാദിന്റെ പ്രാന്തപ്രദേശത്തു കാറില് സഞ്ചരിക്കുകയായിരുന്ന ജാവേദ് ഷെയ്ഖ്, ഇസ്രത്ത് ജഹാന്, പാകിസ്താന് പൗരന്മാരായ അംജദ് അലി, ജിഷാന് ജോഹര് അബ്ദുള് ഘനി എന്നിവര് പോലീസുമായുണ്ടായ ഏറ്റുമുട്ടലില് വെടിയേറ്റു മരിച്ചത്.
ഭീകരരുമായി ഇസ്റത്തിനു ബന്ധമില്ലെന്നും ജാവേദ് ഷെയ്ഖിന്റെ വാസനത്തൈലവ്യാപാരത്തില് സെയില്സ് ഗേളാണ് അവരെന്നും ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി ഇസ്റത്തിന്റെ അമ്മ ഷാമിമ കൗസര് ഗുജറാത്ത് ഹൈക്കോടതിയില് ഹര്ജി നല്കിരുന്നു. മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്ര മോഡിയെ വധിക്കുകയെന്ന ലക്ഷ്യത്തോടെ ഭീകരര് സംസ്ഥാനത്തെത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നു ഗുജറാത്ത് പോലീസിനു വിവരം ലഭിച്ച സമയത്തായിരുന്നു അഹമ്മദാബാദിലെ ഏറ്റുമുട്ടല്.
മോഡിയെ വധിക്കുകയെന്ന ലക്ഷ്യത്തോടെയായിരുന്നു ജാവേദും സംഘവും അഹമ്മദാബാദിലെത്തിയതെന്ന പോലീസിന്റെയും കേന്ദ്രസര്ക്കാരിന്റെയും നിലപാട് ഏറെ വിവാദങ്ങള്ക്കു വഴിവച്ചിരുന്നു. താനെയിലെ മാമ്പ്ര സ്വദേശിനിയായ ഇസ്രത്തിനെ 2007 വരെ ഇന്ത്യയില് ലഷ്കറെയുടെ ചുമതലയുണ്ടായിരുന്ന മൂസാമീലാണു സംഘടനയില് ചേര്ത്തതെന്നു ഹെഡ്ലി പറഞ്ഞതായി എന്.ഐ.എ. വെളിപ്പെടുത്തി. മൂസാമീല് ഇവിടെ ലഷ്കറെ മുഖ്യ കമാന്ഡറായിരിക്കെ 2006 ലാണു ഹെഡ്ലി ഇന്ത്യയില് പ്രവര്ത്തനം തുടങ്ങിയത്. ഇസ്രത്ത് തങ്ങളുടെ പോരാളിയാണെന്ന് 2004 ലെ ഏറ്റുമുട്ടലിനുശേഷം ലഷ്കര് സമ്മതിച്ചിരുന്നു. എന്നാല് ജമാത് ഉദ് ദവ എന്നു പേരുമാറിയ ലഷ്കറെ തോയ്ബ 2007 ല് ഇസ്റത്തിലുള്ള അവകാശവാദം ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു. ഇസ്രത്ത് ലഷ്കറെ പോരാളിയാണെന്നു പറഞ്ഞതു തെറ്റായിപ്പോയെന്നായിരുന്നു നിലപാടുമാറ്റം. തെറ്റില് ഖേദിക്കുന്നുവെന്നു ഭീകരസംഘടനാ നേതൃത്വം ഇസ്രത്തിന്റെ കുടുംബത്തെ അറിയിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
ജാവേദ് ഷെയ്ഖിന്റെ പിതാവ് ഗോപിനാഥ് പിള്ള ഏറ്റുമുട്ടലിനെക്കുറിച്ചു സി.ബി.ഐ. അന്വേഷണം വേണമെന്ന് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു സുപ്രീംകോടതിയെ സമീപിച്ചപ്പോഴായിരുന്നു ഭീകരസംഘടന ഖേദപ്രകടനവുമായി രംഗത്തെത്തിയത്. നവംബര് 26 ലെ മുംബൈ ഭീകരാക്രമണ ഗൂഢാലോചനയില് ലഷ്കറെ സ്ഥാപകന് ഹാഫിസ് സയീദ് ആദ്യവസാനം പങ്കെടുത്തെന്നും ഹെഡ്ലി എന്.ഐ.എയെ അറിയിച്ചു.
സയീദിനെതിരേ നടപടിയെടുക്കണമെന്ന ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ആവശ്യത്തെ സാധൂകരിക്കുന്നതാണു ഹെഡ്ലിയുടെ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തലെന്ന് എന്.ഐ.എ. വൃത്തങ്ങള് പറഞ്ഞു.
