சவுதி அரேபியாவில் பெண்களுக்கு பற்பல கட்டுப்பாடுகள் உள்ளன. எல்லோரும் உடலை மறைப்புத் துணியால் மூடிக்கொண்டு இருக்கவேண்டும். வெளியே போனால், ஒரு ஆணுடன் தான் போக வேண்டும். வேலைக்குப் போகக் கூடாது…………….இப்படி ஏராளமான விதிகள். இந்நிலையில் பெண்கள் காரோட்ட வேண்டி கேட்டுள்ளார்கள். ஆனால், அரசாங்கம் மறுப்புத் தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

இதன்படி, சௌதி பெண்கள் வெளிநாட்டு காரோட்டிகளுக்கு முலைப்பால் கொடுக்கலாம், அவ்வாறு செய்வதால், இஸ்லாமிய முறைப்படி, அவர்கள் மகன்கள் ஆவார், தமது மகள்களுக்கு சகோதரர்கள் ஆவர். இதன்படி, புதியவர்கள் கூட இந்த பத்வா மூலம், குடும்ப பெண்களுடன் கலந்து இருக்கலாம். இதனால், முலைப்பால் உண்ட அந்த அந்நிய ஆண்மகன் பெண்களிடம் செக்ஸ் ரீதியிலாக தொந்தரவு கொடுக்கமாட்டான். இஸ்லாம் இதை அனுமதிக்கிறது.
சவுதியில் என்ன பிரச்சினை என்னவென்றால், கடைக்குச் சென்றுவிட்டு வரும் பெண்கள் திரும்ப வீட்டுக்கு போக, காரோட்டி வருவதற்காகக் காத்துக் கிடக்க வேண்டியுள்ளது. அதனால், தாங்களே காரோட்ட வேண்டும் என்று விரும்புகிறார்கள். இதனால் தேவையில்லாமை நேரத்தை வீணடிக்க வேண்டாம் என்கிறார்கள்.

சுமார் மூன்று வருடங்களுக்குப் பிறகு, இப்பொழுது அல்வலீது பின் தலால் (Saudi billionaire Prince Alwaleed bin Talal) என்கின்ற பில்லியனர் இளவரசர் பெண்கள் காரோட்டுவது பற்றி தனது இணக்கமாகக் கருத்தை வெளியிட்டுள்ளாராம்.

Riyadh: Saudi women plan to turn a controversial fatwa (religious ruling) to their advantage and launch a campaign to achieve their long-standing demand to drive in this conservative kingdom.
If the demand is not met, the women threatened to follow through the fatwa which allows them to breastfeed their drivers and turn them into their sons.
The campaign will be launched under the slogan: “We either be allowed to drive or breastfeed foreigners,” a journalist told Gulf News.
Amal Zahid said that their decision follows a fatwa issued by a renowned scholar which said that Saudi women can breastfeed their foreign drivers for them to become their sons.
“As every Saudi family needs a driver, our campaign will focus on women’s right to drive,” she said.
The controversial fatwa, which was regarded as both funny and weird, issued recently by Shaikh Abdul Mohsin Bin Nasser Al Obaikan, member of Saudi Council of Senior Scholars and adviser to the king, has sparked a debate in society.
The renowned scholar said Saudi women can breastfeed their foreign drivers for them to be become their sons and brothers to their daughters.
Under this relationship, foreign drivers can mix freely with all members of the family without breaking the Islamic rule which does not allow mixing of genders.
Breast milk kinship is considered to be as good as a blood relationship in Islam.
“A woman can breastfeed a mature man so that he becomes her son. In this way, he can mix with her and her daughters without violating the teachings of Islam,” the scholar said.

In Saudi Arabia clerics have issued a fatwa suggesting women breast feed unrelated men they have regular contact with so that the men can be considered relatives. The strict Wahhabi version of Islam that governs modern Saudi Arabia forbids women from mixing with men who are not relatives.
According to Saudi clerics, by breastfeeding a man a woman becomes related to the man, and is then free to interact with that man unencumbered by the strict segregation of the sexes imposed by the Wahhabi version of Islam.
Islam prohibits sexual relations between a man and any woman who breastfed that man. A woman who has breastfed a man as an infant is allowed to be alone with that man when he is an adult, because he is not considered a potential mate.
It is common for Saudi sisters to breast-feed their nephews so they and their daughters will not have to cover their faces in front of them later in life. The custom is called being a “breast milk sibling.”
Clerics are unable to agree whether or not the man must take the milk directly from the breast, or if it is acceptable for the man to drink pumped breast milk from a cup.
The whole thing is crazy, and somewhat perverse. The issue has been dominating the headlines in Saudi Arabia for the last week.
The controversy points to deep tensions within Saudi society as a backward and ignorant social system tries to come to grips with modernity. Saudi women are not allowed to vote, drive or even leave the country without the consent of a male relative.

“இஸ்லாம் ஒரு மதமல்ல. அது ஒரு அரசியல் சித்தாந்தம். முஸ்லிம் அல்லாதவரை கொல்வதில் தவறில்லை என்று பள்ளிக்கூட நூல்களிலேயே வெறுப்பை விதைக்கிறது. அதனை தடை செய்வதில் தவறில்லை.” இவ்வாறு கூறுகிறார் சிரியாவை சேர்ந்த மனோதத்துவ நிபுணரான Wafa Sultan . கடந்த 18 வருடங்களாக அமெரிக்காவில் வசித்து வருகிறார். இஸ்லாம் தொடர்பான அரசியல் கலந்துரையாடல்களில் கலந்து கொண்டு சிறப்பித்து வருகிறார். 2006 ம் ஆண்டு, அல் ஜசீரா தொலைக்காட்சி நேர்காணலில் பின்னர் இவர் பிரபலமானார். இஸ்லாமைப் பற்றிய அவரது கருத்துகள் பலரது எதிர்ப்பை சம்பாதித்துள்ளன. சிரியாவில் தான் படித்த பாடப்புத்தகத்தில் “இறைதூதர் முகமது ஒரே இரவில் 900 யூதர்களின் தலையை வெட்டியதாகவும், அதே நாளில் தகப்பனை சகோதரர்களை இழந்த பெண்ணுடன் படுத்தாகவும் எழுதப்பட்டுள்ளது.” என்று கூறுகின்றார். அப்படிப்பட்ட மதத்தை சீர்திருத்துவது நடைமுறைச் சாத்தியமன்று என்கிறார். “இஸ்லாம் சமாதானத்தை போதிக்கும் மதம்” என்பது குறித்த அவரது கருத்து என்ன? “அப்படிக் கூறுபவர்கள் இஸ்லாத்தை பற்றி குறைவாக தெரிந்து வைத்திருக்கிறார்கள். அல்லது மற்றவர்களை தவறாக வழிநடத்துகிறார்கள். இஸ்லாமில் ‘Al Takiyya’ என்ற ஒரு கொள்கை உண்டு. அதன் அர்த்தம், முஸ்லிம்கள் தமது இலக்கை அடைவதற்காக மற்றவர்களை தவறாக வழிநடத்தலாம்.”
அண்மையில் நெதர்லாந்தை சேர்ந்த இஸ்லாமிய எதிர்ப்பு அரசியல்வாதி வில்டர்ஸ் மீதான வழக்கில் சாட்சியமளிக்க நெதர்லாந்து வந்திருந்தார். நெதர்லாந்து தொலைக்காட்சி அவரை பேட்டி எடுத்தது. Wafa Sultan வழங்கிய நேர்காணல் வீடியோ இத்துடன் இணைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. நேர்காணல் முழுவதும் ஆங்கிலத்தில் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளது. Wafa Sultan இன் அனைத்துக் கருத்துகளுடனும் எனக்கு உடன்பாடில்லை. இருப்பினும் மாற்றுக் கருத்துக் கொண்டவர்கள் இஸ்லாமிய மதத்திலும் இருக்கிறார்கள் என்பதை அறிய வேண்டுமென்பதற்காக இந்த வீடியோவை பதிவிடுகின்றேன்.
