லாகூர்: சோயப் மாலிக்கை தொடர்ந்து, மற்றொரு பாகிஸ்தான் கிரிக்கெட் வீரர் முகமது ஆசிப்பும் சிக்கலில் மாட்டியுள்ளார். பணப்பிரச்னை காரணமாக, ஆசிப் மற்றும் அவரது முன்னாள் காதலி வீணா மாலிக் இடையே பிரச்னை ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது. ஆசிப் கொடுத்த காசோலை “பவுன்ஸ்’ ஆனதால், சட்டப்படி நோட்டீஸ் அனுப்பியுள்ளார் வீணா.

பாகிஸ்தான் கிரிக்கெட் அணியின் சர்ச்சைக்குரிய வீரர் முகமது ஆசிப். ஊக்கமருந்து உட்கொண்டது (2006), போதை பொருள் வைத்திருந்தது (2008) என பல்வேறு குற்றச்சாட்டுகளுக்கு உள்ளாகியவர். பல முறை தடையை எதிர்கொண்டவர். கடந்த ஆண்டு அணிக்கு திரும்பிய இவர், தற்போது போட்டிகளில் பங்கேற்று வருகிறார். சமீபத்தில் லாகூரை சேர்ந்த ஹினா என்பவரை ஆசிப்புக்கு திருமணம் செய்ய அவரது குடும்பத்தார் முடிவு செய்தனர். 5 மாதத்துக்குப் பின் இவர்களது திருமணம் முறைப்படி நடைபெற உள்ளது. இந்நிலையில் அவரது முன்னாள் காதலியும் பாகிஸ்தான் நடிகையுமான வீணா மாலிக் மூலம் பிரச்னை ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது.

ஆசிப் தடையை சந்தித்த நேரங்களில், இவருக்கு ஆதரவாக இருந்துள்ளார் வீணா. அப்போது இருவரும் நெருக்கமாக பழகி உள்ளனர். ஆசிப்புக்கு சுமார் 2 கோடி ரூபாய் வரை பண உதவி செய்துள்ளதாக தெரிகிறது. ஆசிப், வீணா இருவரும் துபாயில் திருமணம் செய்து கொண்டதாகவும் செய்தி வெளியானது. பின்னர் ஆசிப் இதனை மறுத்தார்.

மோசடி புகார்: தற்போது ஆசிப் வேறு ஒருவரை திருமணம் செய்ய உள்ள நிலையில், தான் கொடுத்த பணத்தை திரும்ப கேட்டுள்ளார் வீணா. ரூ. 40 மற்றும் 75 லட்சத்துக்கான இரண்டு காசோலைகளை ஆசிப், வீணாவுக்கு அனுப்பியுள்ளார். வங்கிக் கணக்கில் பணம் இல்லாததால், காசோலைகள் திரும்பியுள்ளன. இதனால் வெறுப்படைந்த வீணா, ஆசிப் மீது மோசடி புகார் கூறி, வக்கீல் நோட்டீஸ் அனுப்பியுள்ளார்.
குற்றச்சாட்டு: இது குறித்து வீணா மாலிக் கூறியது: ஆசிப் வேறு ஒரு பெண்ணுடன் திருமணம் முடிப்பது பற்றி எனக்கு எந்தப் பிரச்னையும் இல்லை. கடந்த 2008 ம் ஆண்டு, ஆசிப் பல்வேறு பிரச்னைகளில் சிக்கித் தவித்த போது, வழக்கு செலவு உட்பட பல காரியங்களுக்காக பண உதவி செய்துள்ளேன். ஆனால் இதுவரை எந்த பணத்தையும் அவர் திரும்ப தரவில்லை. அவருக்கு நான் கடனாகத்தான் பணம் கொடுத்தேன். எனது பணம் வேண்டும். நான் வழக்கு தொடர்ந்தால், எங்களுக்கு இடையில் என்ன உறவு இருக்கிறது என்ற உண்மை வெளிப்படும். என்னை மோசடி செய்யும் முயற்சியை ஆசிப் கைவிட வேண்டும். இவ்வாறு வீனா தெரிவித்தார்.
காசோலை திருட்டு?
வீணாவின் குற்றச்சாட்டுக்கு மறுப்பு தெரிவித்த ஆசிப் கூறுகையில்,”” கடந்த பிப்ரவரி மாதம் எனது வீட்டில் இருந்த வங்கி காசோலைகளை, வீணா திருடி விட்டார். இது குறித்து போலீசில் எப்.ஐ.ஆர்., பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. நான் ஏன் வீணாவிடம் பணம் வாங்க வேண்டும். நான் அணியிலிருந்து நீக்கப்பட்ட சமயங்களில், ஐ.பி.எல்., தொடர் மூலம் நல்ல வருமானம் எனக்கு கிடைத்தது. நான் வேறு ஒருவரை திருமணம் செய்ய உள்ளதால், பழிவாங்கும் நோக்குடன் வீணனா செயல்பட்டு வருகிறார்,” என்றார்.

Lahore, April 15: The financial feud between Mohammad Asif and his ex-girlfriend Veena Malik is getting nastier with the actress filing a police complaint against the Pakistani pacer for allegedly sending threatening messages.
“I have filed a complaint that Asif is sending me threatening messages. He has threatened to harm me if I don’t stop pursuing my demand that he return the loan he has taken from me,” Veena said.
The feud over money matters between the two celebrities has snowballed into a major controversy with the Pakistan Cricket Board cautioning Asif to focus on his preparations for the Twenty20 World Cup.
Pakistan’s interior minister Rehman Malik also called up Veena after she made an appeal to the government to look into her case.
“Rehman Malik has asked me to send him all relevant documents of the case and has promised me security and justice,” Veena said.
The actress had an affair with Asif until he recently got married to a girl of his family’s choice.
Since then Veena has demanded that he return her around Rs 14 million which she claims she gave him when he was banned from playing cricket.
Asif has denied taking this amount and said he had returned the Rs 3.4 million he owed Veena.
The actress has filed a petition in the Lahore high court pleading for a case to be registered against Asif for fraud and cheating while Asif has filed a counter claim in the against Veena.
“The case we are pushing for to be registered against Asif carries a punishment of three years imprisonment and non-bailable arrest warrants,” Khawaja Shareef, the lawyer for Veena said.
The feud has got the PCB worried as the team is due to leave for the West Indies on their World Cup campaign on April 24.
“So far we have treated this as a personal issue of Asif as he has not missed any session of the training camp but obviously we are concerned this issue might not affect his focus,” Pakistan team manager Yawar Saeed said.
“We have told Asif to focus on his cricket and get over this issue quickly. The World Cup is a very event for us. And we are keeping a close watch on things,” he added.
